In over two decades of interest into and attendance of STL AS they've never been great at communication or making it sound like an interesting event. One of the most memorable letdowns was when the GT500 KR was brand new, there was a Raptor concept truck, and the Skyline GT-R was making the rounds, and almost none of the non-enthusiasts knew what they were or why the GT-R and GT500 KR were roped off, as I recall.
